The
foundation provides a traditional flag box to the surviving family of
any veteran buried at our National Cemetery on Fort Richardson.
Direct
dependents of Alaska war veterans are eligible.
An essay submission is required on the value of military service. The winning
essay is published each year.
Grades, community service, and “need” are also considered in awarding scholarships that can be used for college, vocational schools, or other post secondary educational pursuits consistent with guidelines.
