The Annual Veterans Concert
Every November, in the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, we produce this annual "embrace" of all who stand guard for America. 90 minutes of professional uplifting music, videos, awards and heroes are presented FREE of charge. If you would like to support this event, let us know.

National Designation
Since 2004 this concert has been designated one of only 20 official celebrations of Veterans Day in our nation.Each year the Foundation bestows its unique “ABOVE AND BEYOND” medal to selected men and women for Bravery, Service, or Sacrifice.

The Alaska Veterans Calendar
A statewide 12 month calendar of all veteran and appropriate military events in Alaska are presented on the website. This calendar provides extensive information in one place on events of interest to veterans.

Welcome Home Committee
A joint program with the Vietnam Veterans of America that attempts to meet every returning wounded veteran and provide support and assistance to the veteran and his/her family during this difficult time of transition.

UPDATE
The Veterans Endowment Trust
Our national and state officials have failed to provide Alaska's Veterans adequate healthcare, even for injuries suffered in combat. This is a moral and ethical violation of the contract - the trust veterans placed in their nation when they agreed to stand guard for America.

The VET gathers funding to underwrite community based healthcare for Alaskan veterans and our families through annual pledges of PFD checks and donations from our members and others who care, including corporations.

Donations are deposited into a US Treasury program to generate interest and ensure total transparency. There is no administrative overhead assessed for doantions to the VET.
